Transporting other things in vehicle.
DOT regulations state that Personal Belongings are NOT covered under ANY insurance policy as the DOT does not allow the transport of household goods by Auto Transporters.
Most of our drivers will allow for Personal Belongings in the trunk of the vehicle only and limited to 100 lbs only.
You must notify your representative of anything you wish to put into the vehicle and approved by the driver prior to shipping.
You may not transport: • Live Plants • Prescription or Non Prescription Drugs • Fruits or Produce from another State or Country • Tobacco • Alcoholic Beverages • Electronics • If you exceed these weight limits, the driver, at their discretion, can charge additional fee's for over limit or unknown contents. • This is done as a favor to our clients and can be refused at anytime by the company or driver.
